Coasteering Punta Molara
JOIN OUR COASTEERING TOURS TO EXPLORE THE MOST FASCINATING FEATURES OF THE ROCKY COASTLINE
The Coasteering tour of Punta Molara is an easy and pleasant journey along the rocky coast facing the islands of Tavolara and Molara. It features swimming in our crystal clear sea, easy jumping in deep waters, crawling through hidden passages and walking on the rocks. The Coasteering of Punta Molara is suitable for everyone in good shape and able to swim in open waters. We welcome families and children too (over 10)
Starting from the hill behind Punta Molara, we will put on our wetsuits and get ready for the day. From the parking space, we will walk 20 minutes to reach our starting point, walking on a path through the thick juniper and oak forest. As we get to the water we will immediately jump in to cool down and start our adventure. Over the sea, a short distance away, we will admire the immense cliffs of Tavolara island, where we also run a tour to the summit. Sinuous granite formations are embraced by the sea and the sky, conjuring a unique landscape. Walking on the rocks is easy as the granite is coarse and grippy. Jumps are fun but never a must, those who don't like jumping can always find an easy entrance into the water. On the other hand, those who love jumping will have plenty of possibilities. There are no high jumps, but the fun doesn't always have to be dangerous!
The Coasteering of Punta Molara is only one kilometre long, but it has such an abundance of features to keep us going for over three hours. Half-way through we will take a break to eat some snacks and relax, and then continue to the charming rocce piatte, a large granite slab topped with fascinating rock formations. At the end of our Coasteering tour, we will walk on a path to return to the cars. The return journey lasts about 20 minutes.
