Terms of Service
These terms govern the refund and cancellation policy for services offered under the brand 40 Gradi Nord, owned by Great Italian Outdoors LTD, a tour operator registered in the United Kingdom, through the platform https://www.40gradinord.com.

Definitions
- — “User Account” — profile created by the User upon registration
- — “Listing” — section of the site describing the types of service offered
- — “Partner” — person or company providing the services listed on the Site
- — “Activity Price” — total cost due from the User for the chosen service
- — “User” — natural or legal person requesting the booking of a Service through the Site

Bookings
To book an activity, simply choose one of the options from the Site’s Home Page, navigate to the activity page and click the “Prenota” (Italian version) or “Book Now” (English version) button.
On the next screen, select the number of participants and dates. Payment can be completed from the cart by credit/debit card, bank transfer or other available methods.

Changes Requested by the User
Users may request changes to their booking — regarding number of participants or itinerary — up to 7 days before the start of the activity. 40 Gradi Nord will respond by email or phone indicating any change in price.
If it is not possible to modify or postpone the activity, the User may request a Cancellation.

Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellation or change requests must be sent to info@greatitalianoutdoors.com stating your name and booking number from your confirmation email.

In the event of a “no show” — failure to appear at the meeting point — a penalty equal to 100% of the service cost will be applied, with no refund.
* A cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service cost will apply.
** Some payment processors (WooCommerce / Stripe / PayPal / Apple Pay / Google Pay etc.) may retain a transaction fee, generally between 1.4% and 2% of the total amount.

Cancellation due to Bad Weather
In the event of bad weather, sudden equipment failure or guide illness, the User may request to bring forward or postpone the activity, or request a refund of the service. Only the administrative processing fee of 1.4% of the total will be charged.

Cancellation due to Force Majeure
40 Gradi Nord is not liable for any refund in the event of cancellations caused by Force Majeure (extraordinary events, airport closures, serious illness, natural disasters, fires, military action, hurricanes, adverse weather conditions, etc.).
Should the User be unable to use the Service due to Force Majeure, 40 Gradi Nord reserves the right to refund the amount due at its own discretion.

Changes Made by 40 Gradi Nord
In rare cases it may be necessary to modify an itinerary or the dates of an activity. 40 Gradi Nord will promptly contact the User with an updated plan. If the changes are not satisfactory, the User may request an alternative arrangement or a full refund.

Personal Insurance
40 Gradi Nord recommends that all clients take out adequate insurance covering the activities chosen. Many insurers do not cover activities deemed hazardous. Recommended providers:

It is the User’s responsibility to ensure their policy covers the activities booked and to keep a copy of it.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed in their entirety by Italian law. The original Italian text has legal force; translations into other languages are provided for informational purposes only.
Jurisdiction lies with the courts of the User-consumer’s place of residence (art. 66-bis of the Consumer Code). If the User does not qualify as a consumer under Legislative Decree 206/2005, exclusive jurisdiction shall rest with the Courts of Manchester.

Changes to These Terms
40 Gradi Nord may amend these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Users are invited to review them before each booking. Changes do not apply to bookings already completed at the time of the amendment.
