From the ridges of Supramonte mountains, 4 thrilling abseils to the crystal clear Sardinian sea<\/p>\n

From the top of the ridge the route develops with 4 rope descents<\/strong> up to 30 meters high and a passage inside a cave to reach the opposite side of the ridge.<\/p>\n The Bacu Padente<\/strong> route is very unusual and in fact calling it canyoning<\/strong> or canyoning<\/strong> is not really correct, being more of a series of rope descents<\/strong> without the slightest presence of water (other than that of the sea). Suspended on a narrow ledge, the route alternates very short stretches of walking<\/strong> and long rope descents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Starting from a height of 200 meters above sea level, the Bacu Padente<\/strong> descents lead directly to the sea. From every point the view extends over the Gulf of Orosei<\/strong> with glimpses of the crystalline sea of \u200b\u200bthe Piscine di Venere<\/strong> cove. If the adventure of descents and cave routes is not enough, at the end of the descents it is possible to take an acrobatic detour for a guided visit to the Grotta del Fico. The return journey begins with a short but very steep climb and some easy climbing passages. There are only very short walks from an abseil to the next.<\/p>\n At the end of the trail, if you choose the walking return<\/strong> (as opposed to boat transfer), we will walk up a very steep and uneven path. There will also be a 15 meters climb<\/strong>, which our guide will equip with a fixed rope. \r\n\r\nApproach and return<\/strong><\/h5>\r\nOur meeting is at the Rifugio on the Golgo plateau above the town of Baunei. From there we will jump on our off-road vehicles and drive 30 minutes on a dirt track to reach the access to the canyon. It takes only a 20 minutes walk to find the first anchoring point, and from there it is abseiling after abseil.\r\n\r\nThe return walk follows the path of the famous trek Selvaggio Blu, and in about 1 hour we will be back at the starting point.\r\n\r\n
