Is the coasteering tour in Cala Gonone difficult or dangerous?

The coasteering tour in Cala Gonone is not particularly hard or dangerous. Just like any other Coasteering tour, it includes fiddly passages over slippery or really sharp rocks. Participants should feel confident walking on rocks and listen to our guide’s advice, trying not to expose themselves to unnecessary dangers.

Am I forced to dive into the water?

In the Coasteering of Cala Gonone, we have various options for diving into the sea, where the highest is about 8 meters.

Diving is NEVER obligatory. Those who want to dive can do it, and they can even get back up and dive again. Those who DON’T want to dive can always choose a lower rock or simply walk into the water.

Do I have to be fit to participate in Coasteering?

Yes, it is better to be in good physical shape.

Coasteering is a complete aerobic activity. Both walking on rocks and swimming in the sea require minimal endurance and confidence with fatigue.

What should I wear?

First of all, hiking shoes.

We will walk on sharp rocks for many hours, it is important that you have closed shoes. We recommend an old pair of trainers, which you won’t care if get scratched by the rocks. We will wear a wetsuit, so please come to the meeting point wearing your bathing suit and possibly a polyester t-shirt.
